Steak of Origin semi-finalists named

Congratulations to the semi-finalists which have been named in the annual Beef + Lamb New Zealand Steak of Origin.

After rigorous scientific testing at Carne Technologies, the top twenty percent of entries have now progressed to the next stage of the competition, sponsored by Zoetis.

The semi-final will be held at AUT in Auckland on Friday 3 May, where a panel of judges comprising chefs and foodwriters will make the difficult choice of which 20 beef sirloin steaks will move through to the Grand Final at Beef Expo in Feilding next month.
