In July, the company was honoured to host a visit from Prime Minister John Key at the Hamilton plant. The Prime Minister was welcomed with a traditional Maori pōwhiri by First Foundation Scholar, Alex Whale. Alex’s scholarship is proudly supported by the Greenlea Foundation Trust.

The Prime Minister was also presented with an engraved knife by Greenlea co-founder Peter Egan and his wife Joan. During his visit, he toured the processing facility and took the time to chat with some of the Greenlea staff members.
