If you’re a regular, thank you for stopping by MeatExportNZ in 2013 and for your continued support.
We’ve been working hard to pull the New Zealand meat industry’s news, views and events into one independent spot and it’s certainly been a stimulating and interesting year! China becoming New Zealand’s number one market, horsemeat affecting meat trading globally, the world’s first in-vitro meat, red meat industry reform here along with restructuring of meat and food research – and more.
There’s been plenty to cover as the industry metamorphoses to accommodate 21st century demands. We’re delighted to finish the year at over 50,000 views.
However, after running the blog on the smell of an oily rag, we now need to earn some money. So, in 2014, we’ll be going for quality, not quantity.
If you’d like to support our efforts, we are taking advertising (such as the tiles, see left), or you might consider a voluntary subscription – perhaps $5-10 dollar a month (New Zealand of course). I can send further information if required. Contact me.
We’ll be taking the customary break over the festive season and summer holidays and will be back in mid-January. But, we’ll be thinking of those in the markets, the works and on the farms who are carrying on as usual through our busiest portion of year to serve customers around the world with the best New Zealand meat. Good on ya, guys!
In the meantime, Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to all our readers.
Here’s to a great 2014 for all!
