Guy Blundell is the new president of the New Zealand Institute of Primary Industry Management (NZIPIM) taking over the presidency from Hilton Collier who ends his two year term in the role.
Recognising Hilton Collier’s contribution as the immediate past-president, Guy Blundell says, “Hilton has made an outstanding contribution as the Institute’s president over the last two years in guiding and providing the strategic leadership needed to grow NZIPM’s position as the peak industry body for the rural profession.

Collier will remain as a Board member for the rest of his term which ends next year.
NZIPIM is a membership based association for rural professionals who provide professional services to the primary industry.
According to Blundell, NZIPIM is a membership-based association for rural professionals who provide professional services to the primary industry.
“NZIPIM has an important role in supporting and ensuing that the rural professional is match-fit in the provision of services to the farming community,” he says.
“The skills, expertise and insights rural professionals provide is going to be critically important to the farming community in the future as we deal with increasingly volatile international commodity markets, affordability of water supply for irrigation and the impact of environmental limits on the farming business in the years ahead.”
