Interested in safe food and safe business?

New Zealand agrifood products are amongst the safest in the world, produced under some of the most robust regulatory systems anywhere.

But what happens when there’s a major slip-up and the integrity of our products and systems is called into question?

Reputation risk is intangible but it has very real dollar consequences.

Massey University has organised an event – Safe Food, Safe Business: Strategies for agrifood enterprises’ reputation risk management – which will be facilitated by Massey’s director of agrifood business Professor Claire Massey and will feature leading authorities in reputation risk management and agribusiness to discuss the issues.

Speakers are:

  • Martyn Dunne, Ministry for Primary Industries director-general
  • Jo Finer, Fonterra’s director group regulatory, global brands and nutrition
  • Dr Christopher Galloway, crisis communications expert

Hear how to spot risks early, take proactive steps to manage them and to repair reputation when it’s been damaged.

The event will take place at the Sport & Rugby Institute, Albany Drive, Massey University from 6pm on Thursday 4 June 2015.
